Emoční přejídání – zajídáme nepříjemné, příjemné, únavu i nudu
Žijeme v hodně uspěchané době, kdy opravdu málo věcí činíme, aniž bychom si uvědomovali jejich důsledky, nejen v jídle, ale téměř ve všem co běžně denně děláme. Proto je důležité uvědomit si, že žijeme.
Možná to teď vyzní banálně, ale zkuste si přejít do vlastní zkušenosti.
Jako malé děti se učíme chodit, každý krůček prožíváme všemi smysli. Posloucháme dění okolo nás, cítíme kontakt nohou se zemí, máme strach a zároveň pociťujeme lásku, jak k lidem, kteří stojí při nás, podporují nás a také respektují čas, za který se naučíme běhat.
Postupem času se však naše chůze stává součástí života a jistou samozřejmostí a nikdo už nám neřekne, jsi skvělý, že dokážeš chodit.
Jakmile se staneme dospělými jsme zahlceni vlastními problémy a už se méně díváme na druhé s láskou, pokorou a úctou k životu, pokud to tedy nejsou opět malé děti, či jinak znevýhodnění jedinci. Ani mi sami se neumíme pochválit a bereme jako samozřejmost, že se ráno rozsvítí sluníčko, my vstaneme, máme tu možnost otevřít oči, jít se umýt, nasnídat, zkrátka probudit se do nového dne….
Ztrácíme tak tedy oporu jak v sobě samém, tak i pochopení naší podstaty od okolí a začneme se cítit špatně. Měli bychom se více učit naslouchat jak sobě samým, tak i okolí. Pamatujte, co dáváte, to se Vám vrací zpátky.
Z toho dále vychází negativní energie a myšlení, které poté tvoří svět okolo nás a my nechápeme, proč tomu tak je. Hledáme viníky všude kolem: práce, nezdravé jídlo, škola, děti, přátelé, rodina, vztahy…. co si budeme povídat, kdo hledá problémy, vždy jich najde neskutečně moc.
Tím jak v nás narůstá stres a flustrace z toho, jak vypadáme, jak se cítíme, jaké máme zdravotní problémy, co se kolem nás děje, tak většinou zpravidla hledáme únikové cesty. Každý má sklony k něčemu jinému – alkohol, cigarety, jídlo, vztahy, výčet závislostí může být hodně velký.
Proto je důležité si uvědomit, že jediný, kdo může Vaši situaci změnit, jste Vy sami, nikdo jiný totiž za situaci, do které jste se dostali nemůže, to Vy jste si nenastavili zdravé hranice, hranice, které by Vám nedovolili si ubližovat 🙂
Zní to moc drsně? Ano! Ale je potřeba si to říct narovinu a pohnout se z místa, vykročit ze své komfortní zóny a začít se sebou něco dělat. Jakkoliv… důležité je začít 🙂
Zvyk utěšovat své pocity jídlem se často vyvíjí již v dětství. Většina lidí, kteří mají tendenci emoce zajídat, k tomu vždy bude mít sklon. Důležité je, aby přejídání nepřerostlo přes hlavu a mohli jste ke své spokojenosti fungovat v životě.
Kdy už se jedná o poruchu?
– rozdíl mezi emočním jedením a tzv. záchvatovitým přejídáním
- Emoční přejídání většinou žádnou psychickou poruchu neznamená. Můžeme tedy sníst naráz celou čokoládu, navrch si dát indiánka a nejedná se ani o psychopatologii, ani o prohřešek, ani o chybu v jídelníčku.
- Výjimku tvoří emoční přejídání, které je spojeno se skutečnou psychickou poruchou, které se říká syndrom záchvatovitého přejídání. Jde o poruchu příjmu potravy, kdy bez pocitu hladu potřebuje dotyčný sníst porci, která je větší, než by snědla většina lidí na jeho místě. V průběhu jídla se nedokáže zastavit, ani sníst méně, a po jídle nebo již během jeho konzumace se objevují obrovské pocity viny. O přejídání většinou nechce mluvit, velmi se za něj stydí a tají ho před ostatními. Nezřídka ho po záchvatovitém přejedení rozbolí žaludek nebo má pocit na zvracení.
- Člověk, který se záchvatovitě přejídá, bývá zároveň přesvědčený, že jeho sebepojetí (to jak vnímá sám sebe) závisí hlavně na tom, jak vypadá jeho postava nebo kolik váží. O to více si pak záchvatovité přejedení vyčítá, což často vede k dalšímu přejedení.
